THE SHIFT
Animal collagen hasn't kept up with the industry.
For decades, cosmetic collagen has meant animal-derived material: variable, hard to standardize, and increasingly out of step with what brands and consumers expect. It’s also large, generic, and passive. The market is moving toward ingredients that are consistent, animal-free, and engineered for precise functionality. Traditional collagen wasn’t built for that.

Proteins designed with intent.
Instead of extracting whole collagen, we use biotechnology to produce recombinant proteins designed from the specific functional regions of human collagen. The result is a new class of bioactive, animal-free proteins: smaller and more defined than animal collagen, engineered to perform in cosmetic formulations and supported by laboratory and cell-based research.
