Last week, our CEO Kris Blanchard was invited to participate in a panel at Chile’s Eureka Day, hosted by CORFO at the headquarters of startuplab.01, as part of the visit of the Eureka Network authorities.
In a rich conversation with Jocelyn Olivari and Rosa Nair Roa Roco, Kris shared how being part of the Eureka Network enables companies like Luyef Biotechnologies to connect with high-level international partners, accelerate technological capabilities, and expand access to global markets.
He also reflected on how to effectively design and leverage international networks, highlighting the collaboration with Osnath Assayag and the 3i team within the Eureka Network as a concrete example of integrated innovation in action.
The discussion also emphasized that while Chile is recognized for world-class expertise, this alone is not enough. Strengthening and diversifying the country’s long-term economic development requires effective mechanisms that connect local talent with international collaboration, advanced technologies, and real market opportunities.
We thank Brit Helle, Jorge Liz, Marc Pauchard, and Jocelyn Olivari for their efforts in strengthening Chile’s global position. Networks like Eureka play a key role in building a more competitive, diversified, and sophisticated innovation ecosystem.
